In order for an Outlook Mac user to be able to see a non-primary calendar, even if they have delegate access to it, you have to go to the root level of the mailbox and set a permission of "folder visible" for them. Note that a non-primary calendar will behave a little funny for someone who is using Outlook desktop client on a Mac. During conversion, nothing gets deleted.everything stays the same.Īfter you convert the mailbox, give yourself full control delegation to it from there you can go into it in OWA or in your Outlook desktop client and adjust any permissions as needed - share the calendar with more people, change their permissions to read-only or to read-write, and whatever else is needed. We convert mailboxes to shared with some frequency around here (e.g., when someone terminates employment.) My experience is that all permissions remain intact when we convert a mailbox from individual to shared.
